The most common signs and symptoms of sleep apnea are:
- Excessive daytime sleepiness
- Waking up short of breath
- Loud snoring or episodes of choking, gasping or breathing cessation while sleeping
- Waking up with a dry mouth or sore throat
- Frequent morning headaches
